In this industry, we tend to get hung up on guest posting. While it’s an incredibly useful method for earning exposure and picking up links from authoritative sites, it’s certainly not the only method out there, and diversity is a must if you want to outperform the competition.
Well, I thought it was important to do more than encourage tactical diversity. I wanted to take the next step and provide people with a list of real alternatives to guest posting that you can implement today.
So, about a month ago, I put together a post for Search Engine Journal where I shared more than 80 tactics you can use to build links.
In my opinion, one of the best ways to measure the usefulness of a piece of content is how often you find yourself referring back to it. I’m proud to say that I have already referred back to this post, for my own use, more than any other post on link building tactics.
As we approach the end of the year, now is a good time for all of us to reevaluate our strategies, and posts like these are a great way to shake things up.
You can read the entire article in Search Engine Journal.
